Delete your account
You can delete your Promote account at any time, from the app or by email. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
In the app
- Open Promote and sign in.
- On the home screen, tap the round button with your initials, top right, to open your profile.
- Scroll down and tap Delete my account.
- Enter your password to confirm.
You are signed out of every device, and your account is deleted right away.
By email
If you can’t sign in anymore, write to [email protected] from the email address of your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address, then delete the account within 30 days and tell you when it’s done.
What is deleted
- Your account: name, email address and password.
- Your profile: phone number, country, languages, time zone and notification settings.
- Your payout details.
- Your sessions, devices, push notification tokens and notifications.
- Your warm-up declarations.
What is kept
The posts you published for a brand, their reviews and statistics, and the payments you received stay with the brand you worked with. They are records of work done and paid: we keep them for as long as the law requires us to keep accounting and payment records, and to settle any claim about that work. Your posts themselves stay on TikTok or Instagram; deleting them there is up to you.
